She was born on March 2, 1935 to Mr. Felipe Garcia and Mrs. Elena Garza Garcia in La Villa, Texas.

Mrs. Solis is preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Arturo Solis; her son: Javier Solis, Jessy Solis; her brother: Domingo Garcia; her sister Herminia Clutter; her grandchildren: Sylvia Villarreal, Bernadette King, Elena Garcia Solis, Rebecca Solis, Jessy Solis.

Left to cherish her memories is her son: Armando Solis; her daughters: Josephina (Julio) Medina, Beatrice (Saul) Vallejo, Dina (Roel) Sonnen, Sandra (Armando Jr.) Palomin; her sister: Regina Feliciano; her daughter in laws: Minerva Solis & Brenda Solis; 26 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Maria Guadalupe Solis is scheduled for Monday, March 29, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Memorial Service at 6:00 pm. A Chapel Service is scheduled for Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 10:00 am at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Heavens. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
