Donna, Texas - Maria Vaca, 59, passed away to be with the Lord on May 12, 2024 at her residence in Donna.

Mrs.Vaca was born on November 3, 1964 to Mr. Antonio Raya & Mrs. Virginia Martinez.

She is preceded in death by her mother, one daughter, Cuquita Vaca; a brother Maurilio Raya; two sisters, Refugia Raya and Veronica Raya.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Aurelio Vaca; her sons, Sergio (Rocio Serna) Vaca, Juan (Aurora Ortiz) Vaca, Rodrigo (Vianey Morales) Vaca; her daughters Ana (Salvador Gonzalez) Vaca, Nanci (Jonathan Cardenas) Vaca, Yazmin (Leo Vara) Vaca, Maria Vaca, Florina Vaca, Alejandra Vaca; her father, Antonio Raya; her brothers, Candelario Raya, Eleazar Raya, Antonio Raya, Ramon Raya, Emigdio Raya, Jose Soledad Raya; her sisters, Ramona Raya, Angelica Raya, Veronica Raya; 15 grandchildren and 1 great-granchild.

Visitation for Maria Vaca is scheduled for Tuesday, May 14, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco, Chapel of the Heavens. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 10:00 am at St. Francis Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church in Pharr, Texas. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna, Texas.
