Ms. Avila was born on February 25, 1967 in Montana, San Luis Potosi to Mr. Leobardo Avila & Mrs. Maria Dolores Martinez Araujo.
She is preceded in death by her mother Maria Dolores Martinez Araujo.
Maria Velia Avila is survived by her father Leobardo Avila, and her brothers Martin Avila and Jose Enrique Avila.
Visitation for Maria Velia Avila is scheduled for Sunday, February 23, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco- Chapel of the Heavens. A Funeral Mass is scheduled on Monday, February 24,2025 at 1:00 PM at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Weslaco.Interment will follow at Weslaco City Cemetery.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
