Mrs. Vega was born December 9, 1962 in Mexico, daughter of Margarito Vega Sanchez and Maria Luisa Vega Montano. She is preceded in death by her husband, Juan Jesus Lozano Richarte; her parents and a sister, Maria Vega.
Left to cherish her memories are her children, Elda Vega (Luis Sanchez), Eva de la Rosa (Juan Lozano), Ana Leal (Eduardo Garza), Jesus Lozano (Vianelly Lucero), Raul Lozano (Flor Lopez), Berenice Lozano, (Juan Sandoval), Polet Lozano (Juan Serrata), Rafael Lozano (Cielo Monsivais), Jose Guadalupe Lozano, Ailyn Lozano, Maria de Jesus Lozano; brothers, Juan Vega, Margarito Vega; sisters, Alma Vega, Rosa Vega, Rosalva Vega, Esmeralda Vega, Gloria Vega. Also surviving her are 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Heavens in Weslaco. As per her wishes, she will be cremated at a later date.
Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Weslaco.
