Weslaco - Maria M. Ozuna, 75, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2023 at her residence.

Mrs. Ozuna was born October 25, 1947 in Sunnyside, Washington, daughter of Domingo L. Sanchez and Angelita Torres Sanchez. She is preceded in death by a son, David Ozuna; her parents; brothers, Jose F. Sanchez, Daniel T. Sanchez; her sister, Mary Francis Romero; brothers-in-law, Rene Moreno, Zaragosa Romero and a grandson, Aaron Michael Ozuna.

Left to cherish her memories is her son, Ronnie Ozuna; brother, Juan T. Sanchez (Enedelia); sisters, Estela Moreno, Olivia Echevarria, Lucy Moreno, Rosie Sanchez; sister-in-law Irma Sanchez, her grandchildren, Jessie De La Rosa, Sophia Loren Ozuna. Also surviving her are 3 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of Grace in Weslaco. Funeral service is scheduled for Friday, June 9, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Primera Iglesia Bautista Libre in Weslaco. Interment will follow at 2:00 pm at Highland Memorial Park.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Weslaco.
