San Juan - Maria Rita Villarreal Esquivel, 73, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg, Texas.
Mrs. Villarreal Esquivel was born in Mexico, daughter of Francisco Villarreal and Carolina Esquivel. She is preceded in death by her husband, Marcos Botello; her parents; a son, Juan Botello and daughter-in-law Graciela Rodriguez; brothers, Martin Villarreal, Lino Villarreal; a grandson, Kevin Botello.
Left to cherish her memories are her children, Ray Botello (Claudia), Martin Botello (Alicia), Elena Botello (Juan Hernandez; her lifelong companion, Alberto Hernandez; brothers, Juan Villarreal, Romaldo Villarreal, Francisco Villarreal, Eduardo Villarreal; sisters, Santiaga De La Rosa, Flor Villarreal, Esperanza Villarreal and Alma Villarreal. Also surviving her are 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a prayer service at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home-Chapel of Grace in Weslaco. Funeral chapel service is scheduled for Friday, September 30, 2022 at 9:00 am at Salinas Funeral Home-Chapel of Grace. interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Weslaco.
