Alamo- Maria Rosario Martinez, 85, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 13, 2023 at her residence in Alamo, Texas.

Mrs. Martinez was born on October 7,1938 to Mr. Anacieto Madrigal and Mrs. Maria Madrigal in Piltown, Texas.

Mrs. Martinez is preceded in death by her husband, Isaias Martinez; her sons, Emilio Martinez, Jaime Martinez; her brothers, Juan Madrigal, Martin Madrigal and her grandson, Marcos Gonzalez.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Sergio (Belinda) Martinez, Rigoberto (Veronica) Martinez; her daughters, Guadalupe (Ruben) Sanchez, Maria Gonzalez, Marlen Martinez; her brothers, Franke Madrigal, Carlos Madrigal, Ramon Madrigal, Alejandro Madrigal, Luz Madrigal; 26 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Maria Rosario Martinez is scheduled for Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Weslaco. A Funeral Services are scheduled for Friday, November 17, 2023 at 10:00 am at Salinas Funeral Home-Chapel of the Heavens in Weslaco. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen, Texas.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
