Weslaco- Matthew Benjamin Caballero, 5, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 in University Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.

Matthew was born on October 18, 2016 to Mr. Benjamin Caballero and Mrs. Yohana Garcia in Weslaco, Texas.

Matthew is preceded in death by his father: Mr. Benjamin Caballero.

Left to cherish his memories is his Mother: Yohana Garcia; his brother: Jason Caballero; his sisters: Jacqueline Caballero, Karina Caballero, Deborah Caballero; Itzel Blanco, Nicole Blanco; his maternal grandparents: Mr. Cruz Garcia & Mrs. Silvia Garcia Marquez; his paternal grandparents: Mr. Benjamin Caballero & Mrs. Maria Figueroa Roldan.

Visitation for Matthew Caballero is scheduled for Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels. A Chapel Service will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 10:00 am at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.

Funeral Service have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
