Weslaco- Maura Gonzalez, 94, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at her residence in Weslaco, Texas.
She was born on January 15, 1928 to Mr. Felix Gaytan and Mrs. Andrea T. Gaytan in San Antonio, Texas.
Mrs. Gonzalez is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Felix Gaytan and Mrs. Andrea T. Gaytan; her husband, Dionicio G. Gonzalez; her brothers, Pedro Gaytan, Felix Gaytan Jr.; her sisters, Albina Gaytan, Maria Gaytan, Hortencia Gaytan; her son-in-laws, Ricardo Rubio & Anthony Ditto; her daughter-in-law, Patricia Gonzalez.
Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Jesus (Dolores) Gonzalez, Juan Gonzalez, Jose Luis Gonzalez, Alberto (Olga) Gonzalez, Jaime (Noelia Garcia) Gonzalez, Alfredo (Ernestina Castillo) Gonzalez, Ricardo Gonzalez; her daughters, Petra (Jose) Martinez, Filibertha Rubio, Andrea Ditto, Maria de la Luz Gonzalez; 42 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Maura Gonzalez is scheduled for Friday, December 2, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Weslaco. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 9:00 am at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Weslaco. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
