Brownsville - Melquiades Mendiola,Jr., 43, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Valley Baptist Medical Center.

Mr. Mendiola was born January 4, 1978 in Brownsville, Texas to Melquiades Mendiola and Maria Alicia Barrera Mendiola. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughter Ashely Arely Mendiola; his brothers: Juan Hector Mendiola, Melquiades Humberto Mendiola, Jose Omar Mendiola; his sisters: Blanca Estela Villarreal, Dora Adelina Martinez and Janie Velasquez.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 8, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a 6:00 p.m. Prayer Service at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Angels in Brownsville. Funeral Chapel Service is scheduled for Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. with Interment to follow at at Rose Lawn Burial Park.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville.
