Brownsville - Monica Lydia Garza, 56, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021, at Valley Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Garza was born February 19, 1965, in Brownsville, Texas, daughter of Jesus Garza Serna and Maria Antonia Galvan Garza. She is preceded in death by her father.

Left to cherish her memories are her son: Fidel Hull Jr.; her mother: Maria A. Garza; brothers: Jesus Garza Jr., Jose Luis Garza, Francisco Javier Garza; sisters: Jovita Garza Escobedo, Nora Alicia Hernandez, Sylvia Margarita Galvan, Jovita Garza and Maria de Jesus Hernandez. Also surviving her are 2 granddaughters Arianna Hull and Abbygail Hull.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, November 4, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Angels in Brownsville.Holy Rosary will be held on both nights at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass is scheduled for Friday, November 5, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Brownsville. Interment will follow at Rose Lawns Burial Park.
