Myrna Isabel Castillo Linares

Edcouch- Myrna Isabel Castillo Linares, 63, went to be with the Lord on July 19, 2023 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissances in Edinburg.

Mrs. Castillo was born on October 29, 1959 to Mrs. Evangelina Garcia Rivera in Mexico.

Mrs. Castillo is preceded in death by her parents that raised her, Mr. Leopoldo Linares and Mrs. Maria Garcia.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Gerardo Castillo; her sons, Jim Castillo, Alan (Erica Gonzalez) Castillo, Anthony Castillo, Agapito Castillo, Juan Castillo, Edgar (Rosa) Castillo, Jorge (Erika Nares) Ordaz, Jonathan Castillo; her daughters, Erika Castillo, Ailleen Castillo; her mother, Evangelina Rivera; her brother, Aaron Rivera; her sister, Rina Rivera; 33 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Visitation for Mrs. Myrna Isabel Castillo Linares is scheduled for Sunday, July 23, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Elsa. Visitation will continue on Monday, July 24, 2023 at 10:00 am to 1:30 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Elsa. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
