Edinburg- Oscar Hernandez Sr., 67, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2020, at his residence in Edinburg, Texas.

He was born on September 24, 1952 to Mr. Guadalupe Hernandez and Mrs. Maria Casanova Hernandez in Monte Alto, Texas.

Mr. Hernandez is preceded in death by his parents and his sisters: Maria de Los Angeles Riojas & Luisa Fajardo.

Left to cherish Mr. Hernandez's memories is his wife: Gloria Chapa; his sons: Oscar Hernandez Jr., Weslee Hernandez, Guadalupe Hernandez; his daughter: Anita Jane (Isaiah Castallenos) Hernandez; his brothers: Speedy Fajardo, Miguel Fajardo; his sisters: Maria de Jesus Zavala, Juanita Segovia, Alicia Saenz, Nohemi Garza; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mr. Oscar Hernandez Sr. is scheduled for Thursday, August 27, 2020, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Friday, August 28, 2020 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens. A cremation will take place at a later date.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
