Brownsville — Paula Martinez Garcia, 77, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville, Tx.

She was born on May 5, 1943, to Mr. Mario Martinez and Julia de los Reyes.

Mrs. Garcia was preceded in death by her parents, her sons Reynaldo Garcia, Martin Garcia and Emerigildo Garcia

Left to cherish Paula Martinez Garcia memories is her husband Ramon Garcia; her sons: Geronimo Garcia (Sylvia), Ramon Garcia (Josefa), Rene Garcia (Marisa), Reynaldo Garcia (Nancy); her daughters: Emilia Lucio (Hector), Amparo Pena ( Jose Luis); her brother: Mario Martinez; her sisters: Aurora Ramirez, Andrea Garcia and Julia Martinez.

Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, July 22, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. to 8: 00 p.m. with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Heavens. Funeral Chapel Service will be on Thursday, July 23, 2020, at 9:00 a.m. at Salinas Funeral Home — Chapel of the Heavens. Interment will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
