Weslaco, Texas - Petra M. Torres, 90, passed away to be with the Lord on October 19, 2024 at Knapp Medical Center.
Mrs. Torres was born on October 23, 1933 in Weslaco, TX to Mr. Santos Moreno & Cristina Alvarez.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Simon Torres & one daughter, Angelita Torres.
Petra M. Torres is survived by one son, Juan Torres; three daughters, Alicia T. Vargas, Adela Torres & Dalia Torres. Also surivving are 10 grandchildren & 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Petra M. Torres is scheduled for Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home Weslaco - Chapel of Grace with a 7:00 PM Rosary. Funeral Mass is scheduled for 10:00 AM, Friday, October 25, 2024 at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
