Rafael Cruz

Elsa - Rafael Cruz, 61,passed away Monday, July 8, 2024 at his residence in Elsa.

Mr. Cruz was born July 29, 1962 in Weslaco, Texas, son of Francisco Cruz and Carmen Rodriguez Cruz. He is preceded in death by parents and a sister, Raquel Cruz.

Left to cherish his memories are his children, Rafael Cruz Jr., Samantha Cruz (Neri Reyna), Cassandra Cruz (Daniel Garcia), Brandon Cruz ( Dani Jurado), Melissa de la Rosa, Monica de la Rosa, Michael de la Rosa; his brother, Ramiro Cruz and his sister, Rosalinda Salinas. Also surviving him are 9 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 15, 2024 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. A funeral chapel service is scheduled for Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 1:00 pm with interment to follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Elsa.
