Rafaela G Chapa

Monte Alto- Rafaela G. Chapa, 78, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at her residence in Monte Alto.

She was born on March 21, 1943 to Mr. Enrique Garcia and Mrs. Guadalupe Montelongo in Mexico.

Mrs. Chapa is preceded in death by her Husband: Guadalupe Chapa; her brother: Enrique Garcia Jr. and her sister: Delfina Jimenez.

Left to cherish her memories is her son: Oscar (Marisela) Chapa; her daughters: Lilly (Oscar) Chapa Reyes, Soila (Jesus) Rojas; her brother: Miguel Garcia; her sisters: Maria Shaw, Orfelinda Garcia, Elida Reyes, Ninfa Rodea, Graciela De Leon, Gloria Saenz and Noelia Escobedo; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Chapa will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Visitation for Mrs. Rafaela G. Chapa is scheduled for Friday, March 4, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Elsa. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 10:00 am at Christ the King Catholic Church in Monte Alto. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in Weslaco.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
