Ramiro Carrera

Mercedes- Ramiro Carrera, 74, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissances Hospice Facilty in Edinburg.

Mr. Carrera was born on March 15, 1950 to Mr. Seferino Carrera and Mrs. Maria Gonzales in Mexico.

Mr. Carrera is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Seferino Carrera and Mrs. Maria Gonzales; his son, Ramiro Carrera Jr.; his brother, Jose Carrera; his sisters, Josefina Ayala and San Juana Cadena.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Griselda S. Carrera; his sons, Rigoberto (Sylvia) Carrera, Raymundo (Miriam) Carrera, Carlos Joel Carrera, Alejandro (Alicia Sanchez) Carrera, Ricardo Carrera; his daughters, Erica (Jesus) Martinez, Jennifer (Joe) Alvarado; his daughter-in-law, Yasmin Carrera; his brothers, Guadalupe Carrera, Filoberto Carrera; 22 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mr. Ramiro Carrera is scheduled for Tuesday, December 3, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at 10:00 am at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Edcouch. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
