Ramiro Ortega Jr.

Donna - Ramiro Ortega Jr. 67 passed away Thursday February 23, 2023 at McAllen Medical Center.

Mr. Ortega was born in Nuevo Progreso, Tamaulipas, Mexico son of Ramiro Ortega and Rita Cepeda Ortega. He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother Gualberto Ortega and a sister Ninfa Ortega.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Maria Irene Ortega; his children, Patricia Ortega, Irene Cantu (Adan), Ramiro Ortega III (Rosemary), Polly Abigail Avila (Rolando), brothers, Juan Ortega, Adan Ortega, Arturo Ortega, Hector Ortega; sisters, Oralia Gonzalez, Eva Ortega and Maribel Ortega. Also surviving him are his grandchildren, Bryan, Darlene, Chastity, Donna, Diamond, Aundria, Rolando Jr. Ramiro Jr. and Ernesto.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Thursday, March 2, 2023 from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Heavens in Weslaco. Funeral service is scheduled for Friday, March 3, 2023 at 9:00 am at New Life Temple in Donna. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens.
