Raquel Castillo

Edcouch, Texas - Raquel Castillo, 83, passed away to be with the Lord on March 16, 2025 at McAllen Medical Center.

Ms. Castillo was born on January 1, 1942 in Matamoros Tamaulipas Mexico to Mr. Ponciano Castillo & Francisca Casas.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Raquel Castillo is survived by one daughter, Elsa Maribel Garcia (Juan B.); two sons, Gil Rene Castillo (Marshella) & Nelson Castillo. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Victor Gonzalez, Bibi Gonzalez, Mallory Castillo, Nicholas Castillo; four great-grandchildren, Cesar Davila, Dione Davila, Leonardo Gonzalez & Gia Gonzalez.

Visitation for Raquel Castillo is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 6:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of Grace. Cremation will take place at Val Verde Memorial Crematory in Donna, TX at a later date.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
