Raul Plata

Weslaco- Raul Plata, 76, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 30, 2024 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.

Mr. Plata was born on October 4, 1947 to Mr. Gonzalo Plata and Mrs. Consuelo Uvalle Plata in Mission, Texas.

Mr. Plata is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Gonzalo Plata and Mrs. Consuelo Uvalle Plata; his brother, Ramon Plata and his sister, Maria Rosario Plata de Marines.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Rosa E. Plata; his sons, Fabian (Jennifer) Munoz, Gonzalo (Lourdes) Plata, Francisco (Sandy Morales) Plata; his daughters, Alejandra P. (Santiago Hernandez) Plata, Gabriella (Steven) De La Rosa, Christina (Jaime) Martinez; his brothers, Jose L. Plata, Israel Plata, Gonzalo Plata; his sister, Consuelo Plata de Jasso; 18 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for. Mr. Raul Plata is scheduled for Monday, September 2, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
