Mercedes- Rebeca Medrano de Lira, 75, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 15, 2024 at her residence in Mercedes, Texas.

Mrs. Medrano de Lira was born on April 10, 1948 in Mexico to Mr. Agustin Medrano & Mrs. Maria Concepcion Rodriguez.

Rebeca Medrano de Lira is preceded in death by both of her parents, her brothers Ramiro Medrano and Juan Luis Medrano and her sister Teresa Medrano.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband Fermin Lira, her sons Roberto and Albert (Brittany) Lira, her daughter Raquel (Gerardo) Reyna, her brothers; Virgilio Medrano, Alfredo Medrano, and Julian Medrano, her sisters; Rosa Elia Rodriguez, Irene Davila, Maria Beatriz Garza and 3 grandchildren.

Visitation for Rebeca Medrano de Lira is scheduled for Sunday, January 21,2024 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Mass at 7:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco- Chapel of Grace.

As per her wishes, Mrs. Medrano de Lira will be cremated at a later date.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
