Weslaco- Rene Elizondo Jr., 56, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 1, 2023 in Laramie, Wyoming.

Mr. Elizondo was born on August 30, 1966 to Mr. Rene Elizondo Sr. and Mrs. Elia Rodriguez Pena in Weslaco, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his father, Mr. Rene Elizondo Sr.

Left to cherish his memories are his sons, Rene (Rachel) Elizondo III, Ramsey Dane (Alexzandra) Elizondo, Jacob Alexander Elizondo; his daughter, Melissa Hernandez; his mother, Mrs. Elia Rodriguez Pena; his sister, Rhonda Lynn Elizondo Luke (Devant); his grandchildren, Caleb Elizondo, Casey Elizondo, Freddy Elizondo, Janessa Rodarte.

Visitation for Mr. Rene Elizondo Jr. will be held on Sunday, July 9, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Heavens in Weslaco. Funeral Mass is scheduled for Monday, July 10, 2023 at 10:00 am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Weslaco. As per his wishes, he will be cremated at a later date.


Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
