Donna, Texas - Rene Gonzalez, 70, passed away to be with the Lord on April 29, 2024 at McAllen Medical Center.
Mr. Gonzalez was born on September 11, 1953 in Matamoros Tamaulipas Mexico to Mr. Luis Gonzalez & Mrs. Ana Maria Loya.
He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Octavio Gonzalez, Baldemar Gonzalez & Pedro Gonzalez.
Rene Gonzalez is survived by his wife. Enereyeda Gonzalez; two sons, Efrain Gonzalez, Rene Gonzalez, Jr. (Alyssa Ramos); two daughters, Ana Lesbia Gonzalez & Kezia Renee Barrera; four brothers, Luis Gonzalez, Edelmiro Gonzalez, Salvador Gonzalez & Adalberto Gonzalez. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Jasmine Renee Gonzalez, Alezay Renee Gonzalez, Efrain Gonzalez, Jr., Andre Gonzalez, Nevaeh Ramos, Nathaniel Ramos, Davani J. Gonzalez, Rene D. Gonzalez & Kaylani Barrera.
Visitation for Rene Gonzalez is scheduled for Thursday, May 2, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of The Heavens. A 10:00 AM Graveside Service will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
