Rita Solis

Weslaco - Rita Solis, 84, passed away to be with the Lord on June 19, 2022 at Doctors Hospital in Laredo .

Mrs. Solis was born on August 29, 1937 in Mexico to Mr. Modesto Solis and Mrs. Maria Martinez Solis.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Inez Badillo; her brother, Marcial Solis and her sister Concepcion Solis.

Rita Solis is survived by her sons, Arron (Antonia) Badillo, Gabriel (Juanita) Badillo, Abel (Blanca) Badillo, Benjamin (Crystal) Badillo; her daughters, Tamar (Donaciano) Leija, Esther (Daniel) Solis, Jovita (Jaime) Martinez, Angelica (Severo) Mata, Elvira (+Hector) Trevino, Ana Rita (Moises) Garcia and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation for Rita Solis is scheduled for Friday, June 24, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 6:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 9:00 am at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna, Texas.
