Edcouch- Rodolfo Y. Rodriguez, 99, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 3, 2025 in Santa Rosa, Texas.

Mr. Rodriguez was born on December 23, 1925 to Mr. Ruperto Rodriguez and Mrs. Matilde Bereles Yanez in McAllen, Texas.

Mr. Rodolfo Rodriguez is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Ruperto Rodriguez and Mrs. Matilde Bereles Yanez; his wife, Adelina Canales Rodriguez; his sons, Adolfo Rodriguez, Ruperito Rodriguez; his daughter, Edna Razo; his brother, Manuel Rodriguez; his sisters, Francisca Sartain, Luisa Rodriguez and 3 grandchildren, Hector Razo Jr., Rodney Rodriguez, Joshua Rodriguez.

Left to cherish his memories are his sons, Jose Luis (Marie) Rodriguez, Odon Rodriguez, Alfonso Rodriguez, Rodolfo (Barbara) Rodriguez Jr.; his daughters, Delma Bruce, Belinda (Jaime) Bazan, Rose Rodriguez; 27 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mr. Rodriguez was a proud veteran of the Pacific World War II of the United States Navy. Military graveside services will be under the American Legion of Harlingen.

Visitation for Mr. Rodolfo Y. Rodriguez is scheduled for Monday, January 6, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Elsa. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at 2:00 pm at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Edcouch. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
