Rogelio Riojas Tamez

Elsa- Rogelio Riojas Tamez, 72, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021 at McAllen Medical Center in McAllen, Texas.

He was born on March 20, 1948 to Mr. Alfonso Tamez and Mrs. Maria Jesus Riojas in La Villa, Texas.

Mr. Tamez is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers: Luis Tamez, Malquias Tamez, Mario Tamez, Alfonso Tamez & Felix Tamez.

Left to cherish his memories is his loving wife: Juana Tamez; his sons: Rogelio Tamez Jr., Eduardo Tamez, Erasmo Tamez, Juan Tamez; his daughter: Maria Jesus Tamez; his brother: Reynaldo Tamez, Roberto Tamez; his sisters: Isabel Tamez and Angelita Tamez; 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, January 29, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 10:00 am at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of Heavens. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park of Weslaco.
