Edcouch, Texas - Rosa M. Alviar, 74, passed away to be with the Lord on October 16, 2024 at her residence.

Mrs. Alviar was born on April 11, 1950 in San Carlos, TX. to Mr. Jose Morales & Mrs. Hortencia De La Cruz.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Rogelio Martinez, Jr.; two brothers & 2 sisters.

Rosa M. Alviar is survived by her husband, Refugio Alviar; two sons, Refugio Alviar Jr.,(Anabel), David Alviar (Barbra); four daughters, Virginia Stevens (Johnathan), Ernestina Nieto, Teresa Alviar (Mario Moreno), Maria Elena Rodriguez; six brothers & one sister. Also surviving numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren & great-great grandchildren.

Visitation for Rosa M. Alviar is scheduled for Monday, October 21, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home Elsa - Chapel of The Angels with 7:00 PM Rosary. Funeral Mass is scheduled for 1:00 PM, Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at St. Theresa of Infant Jesus Catholic Church in Edcouch, TX. Interment will follow at Anahuac Cemetery in Edcouch, TX.
