Rosa V. Chapa

Edinburg- Rosa V. "Rosie" Chapa passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at McAllen Medical Center.

She was born on September 2, 1962 to Mr. Crispin Villarreal and Mrs. Elida Espricuerta in Edinburg, Texas.

Mrs. Chapa is preceded in death by her parents; her sisters: Engracia Flores and Mary Duran.

Left to cherish her memories is her sons: Rick (Janet Garcia) Chapa Jr., Jacob Chapa, John (Gabby Moreno) Chapa; the father of her sons: Rick Chapa Sr.; her brothers: Jose Maria Villarreal, Oscar Villarreal, Juan Villarreal; her sisters: Viola Garza, Janie Morado, Minerva Villarreal; her grandchildren: Preston Garcia, Trae Chapa, Faith Chapa and her fur baby: Layla.

Visitation for Mrs. Rosa V. Chapa is scheduled for Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. A Chapel Service will be celebrated on Friday, March 12, 2021 at 10:00 am at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
