Los Fresnos - Rosa Mendez Mendez, 61, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.
Mrs. Mendez was born July 12, 1962, in Cuidad Madero, Tamaulipas. Daughter of Rotilio Mendez Torres and Maria Antonia Mendez Lopez. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband Juan Salvador Vazquez Diaz; her children Brenda Lizzeth Hernandez (Zagith), Juan Salvador Vazquez Mendez, Kenya Luiton (Miguel); brothers Jorge Antonio Mendez, Julio Cesar Mendez, Brigido Mendez, Carlos Ernesto Mendez; sisters Alejandrina Mendez and Maria Antolina Mendez. Also surviving her are 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024, from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Heavens in Brownsville. As per her wishes, she will be cremated at a later date.
Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville.
