Rosa Mendoza

Weslaco - Rosa Mendoza, 66, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.

Mrs. Mendoza was born March 22, 1956 in Mexico daughter of Norberto Zapata and Eva Aguirre Zapata. She is preceded in death by her husband Erasmo Mendoza and her parents.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Erasmo Mendoza Jr., Ricardo Mendoza, Oscar Mendoza, Hector Mendoza (Frances); brothers, Francisco Zapata, Norberto Zapata Jr., Benancio Zapata; sister, Guadalupe Zapata, Patricia Zapata. Also surviving her are 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a prayer service at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home-Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. Funeral chapel service will be on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 10:00 am with interment to follow at Highland Memorial Park.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Elsa.
