Rosa Solorzano

Mercedes - Rosa Maria Solorzano, 70, passed away to be with the Lord on January 7, 2025 at Knapp Medical Center.

Mrs. Solorzano was born on January 4, 1955 in Wharton, TX. to Mr. Feliciano Herrera & Mrs. Maria Candelaria Lopez.

She is preceded in death by both of her parents.

Rosa Solorzano is survived by her loving husband Diego Solorzano, her son Joseph Herrera, her daughter Joanna (Jessie) Martinez, her sisters; Soyla Thompson, Sandra Lugo her aunts; Juanita Nino and Flora Castillo, her grandchildren; Maria C. Almaguer (Roel), Jose R. Almaguer, Adelaida Almaguer (Raymond), Andrew L. Martinez and Jesus Martinez Jr., her great great grandchildren; Ramiro R. Ochoa, Andrew R. Ochoa, Alessandra J. Chapa and Roel O. Chapa.

Visitation for Rosa Solorzano is scheduled for Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa- Chapel of Heavens. As per her wishes, Mrs. Solorzano will be cremated at Val Verde Memorial Gardens at a later date.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
