Ruben Bella

Brownsville, Texas - Ruben Bella, 83, passed away to be with the Lord on August 4, 2020 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville.
Mr. Bella was born August 22, 1936 in Port Isabel, Texas, son of Ricardo Bella and Josefina Reyes Bella. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Abel Bella Sr.; sister, Olga Bella and a son-in-law, Jaime Cortez.

He is survived by his wife, Trinidad Sanchez Bella; his children, Juan Ruben Bella (Leticia), Alicia Cortez, Raul Bella (Yolanda), Diana Guajardo (George), Zenaida Medrano (Samuel); brothers, Ricardo Bella, Agapito Bella Sr.; sister, Guadalupe Bella. Also surviving him are 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 8, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. Prayer Service at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Brownsville. As per Mr. Bella's wishes, he will be cremated at a later date.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville.
