Brownsville - Samuel Torres Gonzalez, 81, passed away, Sunday, March 3, 2024 at Valley Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Torres Gonzalez was born in Coahuila, Mexico, son of Monico Torres and Emeteria Gonzalez. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Sabina Creado; his children, Julia Elia Torres, Yolanda Torres, Nicolas Torres, Sylvia Torres, Brenda Torres, Samuel Torres; 18 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Heavens in Brownsville. Funeral chapel service is scheduled for Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 10:00 am with interment to follow at Guillen Community Cemetery.
Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville.
