Santiago Cobos

Brownsville - Santiago Cobos, 73, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2024 at Mesa Hills Post Acute Nursing Home.

Mr. Cobos was born August 11, 1951 in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico, son of Maria del Refugio Cobos. He is preceded in death by his mother; his siblings Jesus Cobos, Eliseo Cobos and Maria Eugenia Rippstine; his sister-in-law Ernestina Cobos and brother-in-law Juan F. Rippstine.

Left to cherish his memories is his sister Alma Pineda (Juan Miguel) and sister-in-law Esperanza Cobos. .

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home in Chapel of the Heavens in Brownsville. As per his wishes, he will be cremated at a later date.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville.
