Santiago Perez

Edcouch- Santiago Perez Sr., 86, passed away to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 1, 2022 at McAllen Medical Center.

Mr. Perez was born on May 1, 1935 to Mr. Vicente Perez and Mrs. Baldomera Alvarez Perez in Engelman Gardens, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Mr. Vicente Perez and Mrs. Baldomera Alvarez Perez; his brothers: Tomas Perez & Manuel Perez and his Loving Wife: Oralia Perez.

Left to cherish his memory is his son: Santiago Perez Jr.; his daughters: Elizabeth (Rafael) Gomez, Mary Margaret Perez, Veronica Beatrix (Hugo) Estrada; his sister: Sara Gomez and Elena Serow; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Visitation for Mr. Santiago Perez Sr., is scheduled for Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Holy Rosary 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery in San Juan, Texas.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
