Sara Sias

Weslaco- Sara Sias, 88, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco.

Mrs. Sias was born on November 20, 1935 to Mr. Nicolas Salinas and Mrs. Maria Luisa Leal Salinas in Alamo, Texas.

Mrs. Sias is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Nicolas Salinas and Mrs. Maria Luisa Leal Salinas; her loving husband, Domingo Sias; her sons, Ruben Sias, Esquiel Sias; her daughter-in-law, Maria del Carmen Sias; her son-in-law, Sergio Charles; her brothers, Juan Salinas and Cruz Salinas.

Left to cherish her memories her sons, Domingo (Maria del Socorro) Sias Jr., Pedro Sias, Ricardo Sias; her daughters, Anita Maria Bentacourt and Alicia Charles; her brother, Eliseo Salinas; her sisters, Raquel Garza, Eva McDonald, Emma Garza, Jovita Lopez, Mary Lou Gutierrez; 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Sara Sias is scheduled for Tuesday, March 26, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Weslaco. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 10:00 am at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Weslaco. Interment will follow at Weslaco City Cemetery.
