Silvia Luna Avalos

Brownsville- Sylvia Luna, 61, passed away to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at her residence.

Ms. Luna was born on February 12, 1959 in Mante, Tamaulipas to Mr. Francisco Luna & Mrs. Benita Avalos.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her son: Matias Davila and her brother: Luis Lauro Luna Avalos.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons: Juan de Dios Davila, Joe Alfredo Davila; his daughters: Mayra Elizabeth Davila, Maria Magdalena Banda, Silvia Patricia Davila, Marisol Escalante; her brother: Francisco Luna Avalos; her sisters Maria de los Angeles Baruch, Ana Maria Luna Avalos, her 28 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Ms. Sylvia Luna is scheduled for Friday, April 03, 2020 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home. Chapel Service for Ms. Luna will be on Saturday, April 04, 2020 at 10:00 am at Salinas Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at Guillen Community Cemetery.
