Silvia Rangel Birrueta

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Silvia Rangel Birrueta, beloved mother, daughter, and friend, who left this world peacefully on March 13, 2025. Silvia was born on January 27, 1968, in Mexico, and her journey through life was marked by her unwavering spirit, kind heart, and dedication to her family.

Silvia was a cherished resident of Manteca, California, where she made a lasting impact in her community with her infectious laughter and warm personality she brightened the lives of those around her.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Ausencia Birrueta Rangel.

She is survived by her husband, Martin Fuerte; two loving sons, William Fuerte Rangel, Eric Fuerte Rangel; her devoted father, Tobias Rangel; two brothers, Jose Rangel Birrueta (Karina Barragan), Sergio Rangel Birrueta; seven sisters, Antonia Rangel Birrueta (Pedro Guizar), Genoveva Rangel Birrueta (Federico Larios), Raquel Rangel Birrueta (Manuel Sandoval), Beronica Rangel Birrueta (Baldemar Del Val), Marisela Rangel Birrueta, Hortencia Rangel Birrueta (Fernando Vasquez) & Elsa Rangel Birrueta (Cresenciano Moreno) who will forever carry her memory in their hearts. Silvia's infectious joy and strength will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the following services in celebration of Silvia's remarkable life:

Visitation will be held at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of the Heavens on Sunday, March 23, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM with a 6:00 PM Rosary, allowing loved ones to gather in remembrance of her vibrant spirit. A Mass will be celebrated in her honor at the San Martin de Porres Catholic Church of Weslaco (901 North Texas Blvd.)on Monday, March 24, 2025, at 10:00 AM, where family and friends will come together to honor and celebrate her life. Interment will follow at Sacred Park Cemetery in Mercedes (12506 Mile 2 W.).

As we reflect on her life, we are reminded of her profound love for her family, her unwavering kindness, and her tenacity in the face of challenges. Though she has departed from this world, Silvia Rangel Birrueta's spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in peace.

Silvia nació el 27 de enero de 1968 en México, y su viaje por la vida estuvo marcado por su espíritu inquebrantable, su buen corazón y su dedicación a su familia. Silvia era una querida residente de Manteca, California, donde tuvo un impacto duradero en su comunidad con su risa contagiosa y su personalidad que iluminó la vida de quienes la rodeaban.

Le precede en la muerte su madre, Ausencia Birrueta Rangel.

Le sobreviven su esposo, Martín Fuerte; dos hijos amorosos, William Fuerte Rangel, Eric Fuerte Rangel; su devoto padre, Tobías Rangel; dos hermanos, José Rangel Birrueta (Karina Barragán), Sergio Rangel Birrueta; siete hermanas, Antonia Rangel Birrueta (Pedro Guizar), Genoveva Rangel Birrueta (Federico Larios), Raquel Rangel Birrueta (Manuel Sandoval), Berónica Rangel Birrueta (Valdemar Del Val), Marisela Rangel Birrueta, Hortencia Rangel Birrueta (Fernando Vásquez) y Elsa Rangel Birrueta (Cresencio Moreno) quienes siempre llevarán su recuerdo en sus corazones. La alegría contagiosa y la fuerza de Silvia serán profundamente extrañadas por todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla.

Se invita a familiares y amigos a presentar sus respetos durante los siguientes servicios en celebración de la extraordinaria vida de Silvia: El velorio se llevará a cabo en la Funeraria Salinas de Weslaco - Capilla de los Cielos el domingo 23 de marzo 2025, de 4:00 p.m. a 6:00 p.m. con un rosario a las 6:00 p.m., permitiendo que los seres queridos se reúnan en recuerdo de su vibrante espíritu. Se celebrará una misa en su honor en la Iglesia Católica San Martín de Porres de Weslaco (901 North Texas Blvd.) el lunes 24 de marzo de 2025, a las 10:00 a.m., donde familiares y amigos se reunirán para honrar y celebrar su vida. El sepelio seguirá en el cementerio Sacred Park de Mercedes, TX (12506 Mile 2 W.).
