Brownsville - Silvia Torres Balleza, 56, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022, at her residence.
Mrs. Balleza was born March 22, 1965 in Cuidad Victoria, Tamaulipas, Mexico, daughter of Eduardo Torres and Olivia Balleza. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Elfego Molina Ortiz; sons, Jose Abelardo Mata III, Gilberto Mata (Edna Arizmendi), Christian Andrew Molina; brothers, Marco Antonio Lopez, Salvador Lopez; sisters, Artemia Barron, Olga Torres Balleza and Estafania Lopez Cantu. Also surviving her are 5 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022 from 2 pm to 8 pm with a rosary at
6 pm at Salinas Funeral Home-Chapel of the Angels in Brownsville. Funeral chapel service will be Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 10 am with interment to follow at Guillen Community Cemetery.
Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville.
