Simon Lopez

Brownsville - Simon Lopez, 76, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Valley Baptist Medical Center.

Mr. Lopez was born August 20, 1944 in Tabasco, Mexico, son of Simon Lopez and Manuela Alvarado. He is preceded in death by his wife, Rocio Bellizea and his parents.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughters, Iesha Lopez and Odeidi Fuentes; his brother Roberto Lopez and his sister Evangelina Lopez. Also surviving him are his grandchildren, Jose David Avila and Monserrat Guerrero,

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021 from 4 pm to 8 pm with a prayer service at 6 pm at Salinas Funeral Home-Chapel of the Heavens in Brownsville. As per his wishes, he will be cremated at a later date.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville.
