Mercedes, Texas - Susano G. Loya, 75, passed away to be with the Lord on March 2, 2025 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.

Mr. Loya was born on June 30, 1949 in Mercedes, TX to Mr. Domingo Loya, Sr. & Mrs. Domitila Gonzalez.

He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Domingo Loya, Jr., Roman Loya, Guadalupe Loya; two sisters, Sandra Sauceda & Janie Perez.

Susano G. Loya is survived by his wife of 56 years, Guadalupe Loya; two sons, Susano Loya, Jr. (Hiromi), Michael Aaron Loya (Carol); two daughters, Yvonne Medelez (Jesse), Debbie Loya (Victor Villarreal); two brothers, Jose Adrian Loya, Jose Angel Loya; four sisters, Evangelina Hernandez, Bertha Martinez, Beatriz Cantu & Maria David. Also surviving are 5 grandsons & 4 granddaughters.

Visitation for Susano G. Loya is scheduled for Wednesday, March 5, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home Weslaco - Chapel of The Heavens with a 7:00 PM Prayer Service. A 10:00 AM Funeral Service is scheduled for Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Salinas Funeral Home Weslaco - Chapel of The Heavens. Interment will follow at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park in La Feria, TX.
