She was born on July 14, 1959 to Ramiro Navarro & Aurora Anzaldua in Edinburg, Texas.

Mrs. Fuentes is preceded in death by her father Ramiro Navarro; her brother Joaquin Cantu and her nephews: Jerry Martinez & Louie Martinez; her grandmother Martha Anzaldua, her aunt Ursula Anzaldua

Left to cherish her memories is her husband: Eutimio Fuentes; her sons: Esteban (Martha) Garcia & Baltazar (Elizabeth) Fuentes; her daughter: Monica Garcia; her mother: Aurora Anzaldua; her brothers: Alejandro Navarro, Martin Anzaldua, Prudencio Cantu Jr.; her sisters: Estella Martinez, Lucia Navarro, Mary Cano, Patricia Garcia; 17 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Slyvia N. Fuentes is scheduled for Sunday, July 26, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. A Graveside service will take place on Monday, July 27, 2020 at 11:00 am at Valle de la Paz Cemetery in Hargill, Texas.
