Timotea R. Montano

Brownsville - Timotea R. Montano, 71, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Valley Baptist Medical Center,

Mrs. Montano was born January 24, 1949 in Ocampo, Guanajuato, Mexico, daughter of Nicolas Rodriguez and Enriqueta Garcia. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Maria Concepcion Martinez; sisters, Lupita Rodriguez, Beatrice Rodriguez and a brother, Nick Rodriguez.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Francisco G. Montano; her children, Maria Isaura Valdiviez (Jose Dante Ortiz),Maria Irene Ruiz (Rene), Timotea Garza (Martin Herrera), Francisco Montano Jr. (Elisa Salinas); son-in-law, Rodolfo Martinez; her siblings, Juan Rodriguez, Jose Rodriguez, Maria Garza, Blanca E. Reyna, Guadalupe Carmona Francisco Rodriguez, Enriqueta Rodriguez, Nicolasa Macias, and Betty Clair. Also surviving her are 20 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.`

Visitation will be on Friday, July 31, 2020 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. Rosary at Salinas Funeral Home-Chapel of the Angels in Brownsville. Visitation will resume on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 9 a.m. Funeral chapel service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Salinas Funeral Home-Chapel of the Angels. Interment will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
