Fort Worth, Texas - Urbana Minez, 93, passed away to be with the Lord on June 9, 2023 at Mid Valley Nursing and Rehab Center.
Ms. Minez was born on May 25, 1930 in Brownsville, TX to Mr. Jose Herrera & Mrs. Leonarda Perez.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents; brothers, Praxedis, Amado and Tomas Herrera; sisters, Maria Rincon, Francisca Tavarez, Eleuteria Betancourt and Tomasita Rivera.
Urbana Minez is survived by her son Tomas Minez (Elisa), Her daughters;Rosalinda Minez, Maria Del Carmen Soto, and Maria Elena Rivera, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, a brother, Enemencio Herrera and sister, Carlota Renteria.
Visitation for Urbana Minez is scheduled for Tuesday, June 13, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens. A Chapel Service is scheduled on Wednesday, June 14,2023 at 10:00 AM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of the Heavens. Interment will follow at Sacred Park Cemetery in Mercedes.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
