Mercedes- Verancia Hinojosa de Medrano, 72, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 29, 2022 at her residence in Mercedes, Texas.

She was born on August 5, 1949 to Mr. Demetrio Hinojosa and Mrs. Maria Isabel Gonzalez in Mexico.

Mrs. Medrano is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fidencio Medrano

Left to cherish her memories are her brothers, Francisco Hinojosa, Demetrio Hinjosa.

Visitation for Mrs. Verancia Hinojosa de Medrano is scheduled for Monday, May 30, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens. A Chapel Service will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Elsa. Interment will follow at Sacred Park Cemetery in Mercedes, Texas.
