Victoria Zavala de Gonzalez

Brownsville - Victoria Zavala de Gonzalez, 69, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021 at her residence.

Mrs. Zavala de Gonzalez was born May 31, 1952 in Cerano, Yuriria, Guanajuato, Mexico, daughter of Faustino Zavala and Hilaria Ybarra. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband Emilio Gonzalez Mendoza; children, Carlos Eduardo Gonzalez Zavala, Maribel Gonzalez Zavala, Laura Elena Gonzalez Zavala, Brenda Edith Gonzalez Zavala; brothers, Gerardo Zavala Ybarra, Florencio Zavala Ybarra, Francisca Zavala Ybarra and Maria de Jesus Zavala Ybarra. Also surviving her are 8 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 12, 2021 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a rosary at 6 p.m. at Salinas Funeral Home-Chapel of the Angels in Brownsville. Funeral chapel service will be on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at 2 p.m. with interment to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville.
