Weslaco, Texas - Viola M. Cano, 68, passed away to be with the Lord on February 2, 2025 at her residence.
Mrs. Viola Cano was born on July 26, 1956 in Weslaco, TX to Mr. Nicolas Medrano & Mrs. Carmen Aguirre.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Tiburcio Medrano & Adolfo Medrano.
Viola M. Cano is survived by her husband, Norberto Cano; two sons, Adrian Cano, Andres Cano; one daughter, Amanda Cano; one brother, Rene Medrano; three sisters, Sylvia Martinez, Juanita Villareal & Elida Villarreal. Also surviving are nine grandchildren.
Visitation for Viola M. Cano is scheduled for Tuesday, February 4, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of Heavens with a 7:00 PM Rosary both nights.
Funeral Mass is scheduled for 10:00 AM, Thursday, February 6, 2025 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Cremation will take place at Val Verde Memorial Crematory in Donna, TX.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
