Yolanda Rodriguez

It is with deep sorrow and reverence that we announce the passing of Yolanda Alaniz Rodriguez, beloved, wife, mother, sister and friend. Yolanda was born on February 18, 1956, in Elsa, Texas, and she departed this life on April 17, 2025, at the age of 69.

Her warm spirit, unwavering kindness, and deep commitment to her family and friends will be remembered and cherished by all whose lives she touched. Mrs. Rodriguez was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Elsa & of the VFW Auxilary Post 7473 Sgt. Benito Alaniz.

Mrs. Rodriguez is preceded in death by her parents, Cosme Alaniz & Manuela Ortiz; one daughter, Christina Renee Rodriguez; two brothers, Sgt. Benito Alaniz, Guadalupe Alaniz; sister in law, Josefina Alaniz & one grandson, Cruz Javier Aleman.

She is lovingly survived by her devoted spouse, Jose Israel Rodriguez; two sons, Jose Israel Rodriguez, Jr. (Stephanie Flores), Armando Osiel Rodriguez (Jackie Barco), one daughter, Marisa Moses (Mike) & one sister, Idalia Rodriguez (Augustine). Also surviving are four grandchildren, Armando Rodriguez, Jr., Omar Aleman, Samantha Renee Saenz & Jared Moses. Yolanda's legacy will continue in the hearts of her family and the many friends she made throughout her life.

Visitation will be held at Salinas Funeral Home Elsa - Chapel of the Angels on Tuesday April 22, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM.

A 1:00 PM Funeral Mass in her honor, will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.

As we celebrate her life and legacy, let us remember Yolanda for her beautiful spirit, her love for family, and her unwavering faith. May she rest in eternal peace.
