Yolanda Deanda Sarmientos

Brownsville - Yolanda Deanda Sarmientos, 59, passed away Friday, November 26, 2021 at her residence.

Mrs. Sarmientos was born March 7, 1962 in Brownsville, Texas, daughter of Juan Rosales Deanda and Maria Lydia Luna. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Juan Deanda and a sister Edelmira Luna.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Benito Sarmientos; her daughter, Criselda de la Cruz; brothers, Raul Deanda (Maria Delia), Jody Blackburn (Wayne); sisters, Diana Hernandez (Gilberto), Santos Santos (Gilberto), Frances Galvan, Josefina Luna. Also surviving her are 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 2 pm to 8 pm with a rosary at 6 pm at Salinas Funeral Home-Chapel of the Heavens in Brownsville. As per her wishes, she will be cremated at a later date.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville.
